I'd go for the PS3, mainly for the reasons Chromer listed. Either one you choose, you're going to get getting a fairly good system. I wouldn't say one is vastly superior to the other or anything.

Talking about cheapness and promotions.. 360 is better than PS3 and mainly the exclusives that anyone might want for the PS3 are now on the 360, except FFXIII .....

I prefer the computer over the both, but if I have to chose one I would say the 360. Computer to console gaming is pretty cool, I also like the media center.

PS3 also has a similar function, although it's a bummer you can't download movies/music from a dedicated server. You can, however, stream from your PC, which is cool. The X-box has the PS3 beat here.
