Well I hope this in a way teaches you a lesson about buying games for systems you don't own. Plus don't sell those games I mean because like sexyinpink said there are plenty of good games coming out for the PS3 (even though I don't favor it) and don't forget Super Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart Wii on the Wii. Just find a way to make the money to get the 360 or get rid of Halo 3 altogether. Besides its overrated anyways.

Well now that you blew $500 or $600 or whatever on a PS3, I wouldn't sell it. Charge kids to come to your house and play the few exclusives that'll actually be good. Maximize capital gains through long-term investments by utilizing your resources. Don't just call it quits!

Sorry, but the 360 is amazing. All of the systems have their strong points, despite the feeling that they're all going pretty slow.

Yeah, Halo 3 is definitely worth getting a 360, but IMO, I'd rather sell the PS3 for the Xbox 360 Elite. BTW the 360 Elite has a 120gb hard drive, twice as much as the 60gb one. Also has an HDMI port.

So OP did you get a 360 in the end? PS3 is taking over now especially with blu-ray winning the format war. Here in the UK 360 dropped in price and PS3 is still outseling it.

And yeah I prefer PS3 because I had 4 Xbox 360's that all got the RROD within a year. I want something thats gonna last years not weeks.

Lol at my previous post here. Halo 3 isn't worth it now. In before Squeek comes in and brags about Wii.

Anyways, all consoles have different advantages and disadvantages. PS3 has the blu-ray, Xbox 360 has the wide variety of games aand Wii has the unique gameplay. I just hate how people brags about one console and hates others (fanboys).

If You Didn't Sell It (Which I Hope You Didn't :]) I Think This Is Sony's Year...If People Can Go Off About Halo 3, Then I'm Entitled To Go Off On Final Fantasy XIII *drools*. There's more hours of game play in there than a woman on ruffies...WOW horrible comparing skillz I know -_-.

@ddr_f4n (to lazy to quote)...Totally agree...though Xbox (IMO) doesn't have that wide of a variety seems to like FPS and Action Adventure...that is strictly based on what I see and like. PS3 is my winner because I'm an RPG whore ._.! However I can enjoy games on the Xbox like halo is okay, but any other game I've played on there is sorta multi-console, so I fear I can't really say DMC4, Burnout, GH, etc...

The WII will remain as amazingly fun, they don't really have to many games that involve thinking over a 5th grade level, which is why I think it's so fun to be able to pick up a game and metaphorically "interact" with the game.

i'd say without even giving many reasons.. that you should keep your ps3, because often i see that people sell their consoles and then a big game comes out and they wanna buy it again.

Blu-ray has won the format war.

360's break, literally like all the time.

Halo 3 < COD4 anyway.

Plus paying for multiplayer gaming is stupid especially when you not even paying for dedicated servers. 360 you pay for listen servers which always give host advantage. PS3 you play on dedicated boxes that give better pings and better latency and generally a better online experience. Besides home is about to come out.

Yeah.... Halo 3 didn't turn out too well... Halo 2 still rocks and is worth getting an original Xbox for.

I think you should keep it ,sure the 360 has a wide selection of games ,but 08 is gonna be a huge year for the ps3.Plus the 360 has been out like 2 years longer that the ps3 so of course it's gonna have a better selection of games...(or get all 3 next gen like I did)
