Wow the things that happen now-a-days. What happened to cops protecting the innocent?

ps I wanna challenge in also.
    On Brawl of course
My Wii Number is :1400 3149 4401 2038 add me.

If practice makes perfect, but no one has reached perfection, then why the hell practice?

Jist of the article: Glitches were removed.

What I got from it: You're all going to play Melee instead of Brawl because you can't do the glitches you've come to love exploiting.

Just what I wanted to hear. I've been looking forward to casual non-exploitive Brawl matches online since I heard it existed over a year ago at E3 2006.

Squeek, I thought we'd already come to this conclusion....

          LET IT GO

That goes for anyone else that still thinks there's something to add to that debate. Notice how the rest of us are discussing brawl. Seriously, just stop.

            Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl

This is an entirely new debate here. I'm not talking tournaments or whatnot.

The article clearly says that you can no longer exploit your glitches. Sure, they use different words to sugar-coat the fact that they are glitches, but whatever.

My assumption was that you all would either have to adapt or revert to playing Melee, and I see the latter as the first course of action you'd all take.

But that's just me and my item-loving ways.

"There was a bit of disappointment there because it wasn't Melee. However, there was also optimism for new discoveries that could make Brawl better than Melee."

                Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Did they honestly want a Melee 2.0? Why? Why would you re-make the exact same game and just add some new game modes, characters, etc? Why not make necessary changes along the way?

                They continue to this:

Dac: Do you think it has the potential to be superior to Melee?

Gimpy: On a technical level, I don't think Brawl will be able to compare to the absolute peak we've brought Melee to. But I think the community will grow enormously upon the release of Brawl, and the tournament scene will be great. Overall, the game is just purely more fun and entertaining to me.

Hugs: I think it's too soon to say. I honestly feel that Melee was accidentally made into a near-perfect game. So to think that they intentionally made this one better... Well, it's tough to say. But the game does have potential.

They also say the game feels slow and the characters all float too much for one-on-one ground combat to be the same as it was in Melee.

I put two and two together. I got four.

PS - I like the part where the "pro" Melee player says Brawl actually feels like fun to him.

Imagine that. A party game being fun!

I agree Melee was near perfect, and so do many other people. That's why they wanted a Melee 2.0. I would've been fine with that, but I'm not upset with the changes. I think Mew2King was the only person that made any kind of rant about it. It seemed most people were fine with what was to come.

I guess you're alone on this one Squeek. I have nothing against wavedashing, exploit or not, when playing with friends, we still have fun all the same.

I just don't want to see Brawl online turn into Mario Kart online.

If you do, then please, exploit away on random people.

Exploits will be found. Nothing you can do about it. You think halo 3 intended to have glitches? Naw. Are there a lot? Sure are, especially for it only being out a month. Since you have such a big problem with them, the only thing you can really do is hope they patch them with the internet. If they dont, live with it or quit.
