I liked the good old n64 games, I think it was the first one. It had these minigames where you got to team up 3 people against 1 poor bastard and split up his money if he lost. For example there where this rope pulling game where you dragged him out of the edge, malicious pleasure at its best.

I like playing with my family and beating the crap out of my mom. Serves her right for beating me with kindness all of these years.

OMG, I remember getting a big blister on the palm of my hands from rotating the analog stick too furiously while playing that minigame!

Yeah, seriously, taking all stars takes no effort for winning the game. You just get really lucky and stuff, and... what effort is needed.

I was going to get it, but I heard from a lot of reliable people that it bombed.

I heard that too. It's really too bad, I was hoping it would shoot new life into the franchise. But then I realized that out of the 6 or so games I have for the Wii, 3 of them are minigame packs anyway.

me having played all of the mario party games.....1 and 2 are my favourites 3 is also very good....4 through 7 were just getting old and 8 for the wii since i haven't had really a good chance to play it yet because i have just purchased it but so far it is a really good game....graphics are good as well as new maps and different features of play. With the motion censor controller providing a new take on the game i would reccomend it

Seeing as it is for the Wii, that might make it interesting. The games themselves, however, will suck balls as always.

Agreed. I got mario party 4 because 1,2 and 3 were great. 4 just had a bunch of crappy minigames and items and gay game boards. Since then, Mario party games have gone downhill. Even though it is on the Wii though, it won't help much.

MP3 was the best, and MP4 was terrible, I was completely disappointed when it came out. I think I have 6, which was ok. Only reason I'd get 8 is because it's on the Wii, but I've heard some pretty negative reviews. I'll have to research further...

i really love mario party 8 on my wii it is soooooooooooooooo tight i like pumper carts table menace moped something something (LOL) and shake it up and......oh yeah! snipe for the picking that game is so FRICKEN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
