What is so stupid about it? The ONLY good thing source has going for it is its graphics. Would you like for me to make a long list of what they gimped from 1.6 to source?

You replied to a short paragraph with some shallow flamebait comment. It's cool to have an opinion but don't phrase it as a fact. If you like 1.6 more cool beans but there are a lot of people out there who like Source more than 1.6 for a lot of different reasons. The main thing I see anyway is a bunch of old 1.6 players refusing to play Source because it's different, not because it's a bad game. You know, unless they start complaining that the changes make it a terrible game.

cs source is terrible i play 1.6 everyday ive been playing for 2 years im in a cal-im clan now... we went 7-9 this season and last season in cal-o we went 7-1 normal season and 1-1 in playoffs 1.6 is way better than source... source is compeletly random shooting people legs getting headshots. They werent thinking when they made that game all the wanted was good graphics which completely ruined the gameplay. 1.6 takes skill. Source is just easy nubtastic

I've been playing Counter-strike since beta 5.2. I have competed in CAL, CEVO, and UGS (just to name a few). When they created source they gimped so many small things that it annoys me. It's not that I don't want to change.

... and I actually like the ad's on the wall. =]

For the record, I really hate CS. The aiming is completely unrealistic on both ends, which only serves to piss me off, even when I'm killing people. I don't like when I know I shouldn't be hitting somebody at all and I get a headshot anyway. =\

I believe that is how Fact/Opinion is taught. It is always up to the reader to correctly distinguish. The IMO is a usually a disclaimer'ish, and unnecessary. I reacted the way I did because somebody called my opinion stupid.

Apparently you didn't quite understand the few posts above mine. Somebody asked for an explanation on why I never switched to source. I gave them a reason. BTW, you can still strafejump. You just can't bunny hop. There is a difference.
