for me, it was actually Gran Turismo on the ps1... god that game was fun, but the graphics were... strange... kinda sandy, ya know? odd, yes. really hard to steer without spinning out in either a 4WD or a FR car especially the few RR cars. the FFs were as easy as farting (also hard to steer, but without the "spinning outing")
