FFTA was a good game. Considering it is not a sequel or remake of FFT I don't think it should be compared to FFT. This is like saying we should compare FFXI an online game, to FFX because it came before it. They have nothing in common and can't be compared. Just because one came first don't mean to compare it.

FFTA was a great game, just not story-wise.
FFT was brilliant, and while it's better than FFTA, people are just going to compare TA to T and expect the same freakin' masterpiece. That's like trying to compare Wild Arms 3 to Wild Arms 4 in a sense, except TA isn't utter crap (WA4, on the other hand, sucked).

But hell, this is ME, so...of course I'm biased to FFTA.
I can't wait for TA2, and I am also willing to shovel down the money for a PSP so I can play not just the Tactics port but also import some games *coughDisgaea*.

no word on a US release yet

praying that it picks up where ffta left off...
