I think that the Wii will support a keyboard and mouse when the browser launches. Don't quote me, however; it seems logical to me, but I have no support to back it up. I doubt Wii-to-Wii or Wii-to-e-mail will ever support a keyboard; the function is far too simplistic to warrant a need.

Squeek, even though it does work, it still seems a bit buggy. It took hours for my Wii to receive a message from TPS, from the time it was sent. I registered dAnceguy, jamuko, and TPS, in that order, and I established a message-sending connection with them in reverse order. I likely got dAnceguy last because of his WiiConnect24 being off.

I've gotten Miis from everybody that sent me a message, minus dAnceguy. I LOVE how Ryan's (TPS) little brother DJ is the ONLY Mii in my Mii Parade. I've sent Miis to everyone that I have a connection with. Squeek should especially expect a surprise in his Mii Channel =)

I wonder how intuitive the message-sending function is. I sent dAnceguy a message this morning, but after I sent it, I realized my internet connection was down. Does the Wii store a message until it can confirm that it reached the message server? dAnce, let me know if you got my message and/or Miis.

Squeek, make sure you update Spoon with all of our codes. He's still faded out for me, as is Fish.

Oh, and since I wrote down everybody's codes on little post-it-like sheets, I have a handy reference. TPS's code is: 8075-4269-5072-9306. You can thank me later for saving you the trouble =)

I got Nforce's and Fish's messages. So, it does work.

Also, there's a way to make wireless routers into wireless hubs, which takes away all necessity for getting permission to use a router. Plug the "in" cable into one of the other "out" ports (Not the WAN port) and the cable going to your computer from the wireless router into another "out" port.

Then it's just a hub and requires no programming or setting up whatsoever.

It takes a while to register new friends. TPS and Bandit are still greyed out on my console.

Anyway, make sure the "slot illumination" is on. That lets you know when you get a new message, as I just discovered.

Edit: BC just un-greyed. Adding others now.

I was a bit leery of adding RainGame, until I looked at his post history. Looks intelligent enough.

I have the three latest to add. I've also had a message since about 2 PM Central that I haven't checked yet. I'll get to that in a bit.

Guess I should turn Slot Illumination back on, then. I just figured it would save power. Guess it's not really necessary if it uses less power than a lightbulb while running. I haven't been able to check mine for awhile, but I should be able to in a little bit. I'll need to make more Miis before I can send them. I'm planning on making a bunch soon, anyway.

OH jeez this is cool, i'll add everyone that posted numbers this weekend tomorrow. Haven't had a chance between guests and brothers playing zelda and wii sports so much.
