Oh, and Enter The Matrix did kinda suck. It took home best movie based video game at the VGAs though...

Yeah, well the VGA's were done by people who have obviously never rated games. They rated practically nothing but Xbox titles, and gave 'Madden' the number 1. They don't know jack about video games.

Yea, the VGAs are basically an attempt to try and bring more people who know nothing about video games (I'm talking people who play GTA III and think they know everything about video games) into the hobby. Making it mainstream basically.

I mean, Madden 2004 really should not have taken home best game of the year. That's just ain't right...

I seriously don't think that people know how to make a good game based on a movie. A Matrix game could be beyond belief good but video game companies just make a game in a few hours and don't bother giving it anything worth playing for... They can sometimes make a good movie based on a game (ie. res evil) but I never see it the other way around.

Enter the Matrix is actually a tad disappointing, because it had the potential to be a high quality game. The graphics, had they been a bit more refined and polished, could have been good, the gameplay (while repetitive) was innovative and fun, the animation was fluid and smooth, moves looked great, destructable enviornments, a wide selection of guns and the ability to appeal to matrix junkies by being able to do everything from the movie could have made it awesome. However, the idiot (whateveryoucallem) brothers made sure that it had to be on shelves by the time Reloaded was out, which is a bad marketing ploy anyway, and as a result it hit shelves sloppy, poorly done, and unfinished.

Besides the Resident-Evil games, but my mom doesn't like "killing" games.

I was at my friends house, she has a Resident-Evil game for PS1, and her brother was playing it, and there's this huge zombie guy that pops up out of nowhere, and she calls him "the big guy" and it is so funny. We'll be watching, and he'll pop up out of nowhere, and we'll all jump up, and her brother will laugh histerically.
