Press R or something for walk mode, not sure though because I haven't played in a while. Also, if you run out of stamina, you walk slowly, even while trying to run.
You have to pay to get the good stuff, it's more of like a trial to see if you like it. You may get bored around level 8, but it's definitely worth the money you'll pay.
For orb spending, it depends on what you want to be. Warriors should max strength first, then either full con and 20 dex or 60 con and 60 dex. Mages should max int, then do something else with it. I'm not sure, I've never gotten a mage past level 48.
You get 2 every time you level up. I didn't even notice I had them the first time I was playing until I was level 9. They aren't just like the average "hey you got stat points add them" kinda thing like in most RPGs. They have to make them retardedly discreet and not tell you that you have them.
And you get like 7 when you start. You have base stats 5/5/5/5 and you can like get 12/5/5/5 or whatever, if I remember correctly. Not sure how much you start with.
