Tekken 5 is out!

I can't tell for sure if T5 is a masher until I play it, but all the previous ones were, so I'm going from that.

I never played the first two Tekkens, and for all but the elite Tekken 3 players, it could have been a button masher with its insane damage system (Eddy Gordo and one hit kills, anyone?), but TTT and Tekken 4 were NEVER button-mashers.

Street Fighter Series(Yeah but we all saw the parry video.)
Tekken 4
Marvel Vs. Series
DDR(Hey! How did this get here! =)

Button Strategists
Soul Calibur
Soul Calibur 2 (you can say SC is a button masher for certain characters. But you cant button mash Nightmare. Believe me.
Tekken 3
Tekken 5(The system really takes the button mashiness out of the formula this time)
Guilty Gear X2
Guilty Gear Isuka(I hate the new manual turn button)

Tekken 5 in my opinion is definitely not a button masher, but like I said it my opinion.

If a new player in the game can mash their foot on the controller and beat a veteran several times in a row

Only thing is that that doesn't happen. No veteran loses repeatedly to a button-mashing noob.

ohhhh if you wanna say that..... I've gotten through 2 tournys button mashing making it to semis or finals. although i dont anymore tekken is almost one of the best for button mashers lol
