super mario RPG, because everyone loves super mario RPG. I can get all the goodness of the nintendo universe with the depth and complexity and general awesome ness of a square RPG all packaged up into one nice SNES cartridge for my enjoyment. Even if this game isn't your fav RPG, you have to at least like it.

Tales of Phantasia and Xenosaga are tied in second for me with terranigma in third.

Super Mario RPG was okay, but it's definitely not one of my favorites. I've never played Xenogears or its sequel, nor have I played Tales Of Symphonia, though I hear its battle system is similar to Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time's. Star Ocean 3's my favorite because of the battle system and the multiple endings. If other RPGs had that feature, I'm sure they'd do better.

I'm suprised no one voted for FF7, but hey, whoever voted for SO3, thank you. Of course, I'd like to thank everyone who's voted thus far.
