i didn't mean it in my words, i know about the console sales

i'm saying i'm sure ea had to think something to that extent if they re-released the same game. the wii is in the shadow of the 360/ps3 right now, and i'm sure that'll get changed when wii u comes out

Pretty ridiculous, but nobody is forcing anyone to spend money on this.

There are fans of EA games? I always thought the types of people who bought EA games weren't generally gamers but sports fans who "had" to have games with the actual team names/player names in them (in the same way they "have" to buy all this sports memorabilia) and then "had" to re-buy the new game every year for basically updated stats. You ever notice how cheap used EA games go for compared to used games from basically any other company? You ever wonder why that is?

I can think of worse video game companies, but not many. Color Dreams comes to mind.

Perhaps. Regardless, the people who keep buying these games are buying the exact same product over and over again with practically nothing but an updated roster.

If you get the 4 year old version for 5 bucks and do that every few years, you can notice some changes in gameplay. Also not buy full price EA games

              I won't be.

People make money off of trashy rebrands and shitty material all the time.

              To name a few:

              Justin Bieber
              Miely Cyrus
              Coldplay

Nintendo - seriously I think the Wii is a pretty bad system to begin with. And yes I've played on one, I can't say I enjoyed it. Also think of all the money you all wasted on accessories that when they upgrade the system you'll have to buy all over again when they make new ones from the same line.

HP computers - they're just awful products, yet people buy them anyways.

All my personal opinion but you get where I'm going with it I hope.

hell yeah, dude. I recently picked a copy of NCAA Football (2007? 2008?) for a whopping $0.99.

And if they do, good on 'em. They're making their money and people are buying stuff they apparently get something out of (or else they wouldn't keep buying it. Fool me twice, shame on me, right?) On my end it's just a low-quality product that I can hear about once and know to avoid forever, so it doesn't bother me. It's just funny to laugh at.

It's probably not for you, honestly. I think the Wii is essentially their big foray into a more casual and social type of gameplay, and a serious attempt to draw in people who aren't really your traditional gaming type. There are still a bunch of solid games for the system, but yeah, the intended audience is very different and I wouldn't really expect you to be part of it.
