basically, if nobody claims to own a gun, the gunsmith can claim and then we win

There is no reason to hold back having a gun, for fear of your safety or whatever, since you will be able to use the gun on sans this phase.

if the gunsmith got roleblocked one Night 1, then the wolves would have either killed that person, or roleblocked them. which we know is impossible if Alphys is telling the truth.

Meaning: if the gunsmith lent out a gun, the wolves got that gun. (Night 1)

Also meaning: if the gunsmith outs, then the person who received the Night 1 gun is a wolf.

Nobody has confessed to owning the Night 2 gun, either, which is equally suspicious: the gunsmith did not get roleblocked or killed during Night 2, so the Night 2 gun has a very high chance of being in a wolf's hands too.

If a wolf fakeclaims owning a gun, then it will be easy to tell if they are lying about owning the gun.

If a wolf claims owning a gun, then we force them to use it on sans, and then we can investigate them further if we need.
