I think this is a pretty major benefit that in-thread talking only games have over the alternative. When AIM and skype is allowed, you can't really follow along after you die. You can see votes, and posts explaining votes, but for the most part you're out of the loop until someone posts an AIM/Skype transcript. I think it's really great that in games like these, if you die early you can follow along and make reads and guesses because you have access to as much information as everyone else who is still playing the game.

Which players did you have pinned down, and what gave it away?

You and RSD easy.

You were (to me) the most obvious wolf. You didn't help, offered very little to the game and floated along without bringing up any contributory "to the human cause" posts. (I had JWC as wolf 4 for the same reasons)

RSD Because he didn't vote T-Force immediately. T-force showed anger at being counterclaimed, RSD was like "whatever this guy's trying to pretend to be me, I'm okay with it" It sent off a distinct I'm lying Vibe.


I only had Melon through Process of elimination. Kinda thought RP was human.

I had pnt as blue/red, and I was working with a hunch that he seered jwc red. remember that day 1 enforcer joke? OOPS im teh worst

once pnt switched to Xiz I think I had things figured out, but idk, it's a different world when you're still alive and in the game. to me at least xD

my wolf list at d4:

1. runescapedude
I was sure of this one and I was actually heavily considering spending a Seering on RSD on Day 3. But the possibility of him being a master wolf ended up making me decide to leave him until later.

The reason I was so sure was actually a bit of a meta slip-up from T-Force. Before T-Force came out to the thread, he came out to me in PM. I believed his claim was legitimate just from the PM but any doubt in my mind was cleared when he came out to the thread after I told him we couldn't use PMs in this game. RSD was already suspicious to me and his claim came across as way too bogus to me.

2. Raeko
Like I said in thread before game over, I was having trouble reading Raeko at the start of the game because everything she said was coming out super neutral. I suspected that she was either blue or red. Either way, I knew how to find out for sure: Act like it was matter of fact that she was green. When I did this, she became less and less around, and I knew she was a wolf. She was my D4 seering target. I fucking wish that I had sent the PM at start of day. I didn't think wolf shenanigans were going to happen that soon.

3. Riotpolice
Not much to be said on this guy that I didn't already in the thread. Was reading red to me since the beginning of the game.

4. If there's still a fourth wolf, it is either jwc or pnt
Just looking at the vote history the only way of making sense of a fourth wolf scenario was one of these two being red.

My vision of the game on D4 was to vigikill Raeko, lynch RSD, then Riotpolice, and then if the game was still on, use the new information gathered to make a call on Jwc or Pntballa.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Can't argue with that, I was definitely a coaster this game. There was never really any pressure on me, a couple people had me on their suspicion lists (which, by the way, I think help the wolves way more than they could possibly help the humans) but nothing ever came of it. Plus, I had jwc as a buffer in case people started voting based on activity. I'll take your response to heart though and try to work on it.

You absolutely would've. I thought we were done as soon as I saw your post asking for T-Force to protect you. I think the only mistake was waiting to reveal your reads to the thread.

During the lynches I was actually somewhat confident there was one wolf between you two. I'm somewhat guilty during my human gameplay of misinterpreting people playing wrong as people playing suspiciously.

Danceguy getting wolfed threw a huge loop into my player relationships though, and I realized at that point that it was fully possible your lynches were witch hunts.

Nah, it was literally just the possibility of him being Master Wolf that kept me off of him. It would be smartest for wolves to have their role-counterclaimer to be someone who comes out of a seering clean. I wanted really badly to hit someone who I knew would seer red because the vigi was a really important strategic advantage for humans.
