You're lucky this is a sign-up thread or I'd have to fully respond to your stupidity. If you want to host that badly, go for it. I was trying to help out the people by giving them a host that would be EXTREMELY attentive and willing to answer their questions at any time I was available. Maybe it's just me, but you seem to have a bit of a problem with certain people/things and I'd just prefer that all of these new people that are joining deal with someone a bit more tolerable, that's all.

Like I said before, you're welcome to look back at the 1 TWG I hosted and decide for yourself how I was as a host. If you think you'll be as attentive and put as much work into it, then it's all yours. I've been inactive in a game exactly once, and that was for reasons I publicly stated (truthfully) numerous times, one of which included being a wolf if you don't recall.

I am in no way trying to claim jTWG-godship, as you seem to be so terribly worried about, I'm merely trying to get things rolling by being as helpful as I can. If something needs to happen (i.e. PMing a list of potential players) then I'll do it if I can. I won't be playing in the jTWG but I like the idea of it and I like having more players here at FFR. I'd love to see more people like Shash and Nija do extremely well in their first few games. Maybe I just missed all the times you were being helpful and so I took it upon myself.

Officially relinquishing title of most helpful person here to Sertman, he deserves it.

Do you think I'd volunteer to host a game with a ton of new players if I wasn't going to tolerate the questions they're going to ask? I took issue with you pushing me out of the way with no valid reason, not with anything else.

It depends on the number of players that sign up. I've counted 10 in this thread that have expressed interest. I think that this should just be used as the signup thread, and we can wait for 2 more people and start either tomorrow or thursday, the setup will be

I'm leaning towards the second option. This is going to be a pretty straightforward game, not a lot of special roles.

I don't know...
I thought that playing in jTWG would allow me to go slow and get the hang of it with other new players. But now, a bunch of people who've played 5+ times already are signing up.

I just know I'm going to get left behind...I might as well join the normal twg, you know?

Everyone that's signed up with the exception of Nija has either never played TWG before (or at least not at FFR) or is not good enough at the game yet to really be a factor in the main TWG. Trust me, you don't want to join a TWG right off the bat: you'd get lost extremely quickly.

I've also been toying with the idea of cardflipping. As this is going to be a pretty easy game, I think that to really set people on the right track, it would help them. I'd definitely put the master wolf in if I end up structuring it like that, though. For those who don't know, cardflipping is where the role is revealed after a player gets lynched/wolfed.

So is his actual role realeased, or weather or not he was a special character, and is this done with dice, to decide what you should reveal?
