Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
Buizel is out, I'll bring in someone else who I see fit (unless JS returns).
So....is that a no? lol, I really won't be offended. But I would like to know if it's a yes, no, or possible decision (meaning you need some time to think it over). But please, let me know when you can Halogen.

I'm going to contact JS first before making any judgments. Chances are I will bring someone that I've worked with in the past (~Zero~, Revolver, etc) to take the third position, if JS doesn't come back.

No problem. Good luck though, I don't know if I can submit to it.
I don't want to lie to you, so I'll be fair and say that I do think a lot of pad packs nowadays are leaning towards ITG based files. As much as I enjoy them, no one seems to enjoy DDR based files. This is because every pad player that speaks is someone who can pass legend of max like it's nothing. I rather make pad files for a pack that is leaning towards a general audience, not a hardcore one.
I do admit the trends DDR is following nowadays suck, but I still enjoy the underground and simple files of 8th mix and before. That's what I go for. Definitely can't wait for this pack though!
Not only is that not a respectable opinion, it's the honest truth.
It's also the reason why the songs in this pack are to be stepped down from Expert to Beginner, and I'm handling all doubles charts Expert to Easy. I have the same frustrations with people not really caring about lower level charts (note: 9-block on ITG is now "lower-level"), and while I'm trying to cater to higher level players, I'm also trying to cater to those who are just getting started with playing outside of official files.
Also, that's why all of my pad files have "DDR" charts from beginner - heavy, to cater towards to more general audience. Hell, my last Touhou pad pack was much easier then the last two, and it's getting a hell lot of followers, excluding the 3k+ downloads on the other two together. VERY few times I make charts for the hardcore, but moreso I do it because, like DDR, I like to put in "boss" songs once in a while for players to try to reach if they try to get good at the game, mostly like an end point or an achievement I set for them to pass.

In that case, I might step a song for this pack. What I try to say is that because ITG players have become the "loudest," there is no longer room for chaos in pad songs. Shoot me for bringing this song up again and again, but how many ITG or pad players in general do you know that like the song Sync (for EXTREME) in DDR 8th mix? I mean oni, and it's full of chaotic and broken crossovers. Not to mention the two offbeat spin patterns (I was amazed when I learned to do the first one near the beginning). ITG players hate songs like that because they have to lift their feet. Oh jeez, lifting your feet? That's so bad.
Freestyle has become dead too. I actually blame some of the dying in dancing rhythm games due to that. If you think about it, which is more impressive to someone who's never played the game, a person AAAing The Legend of Max or someone pulling off flashy moves on Let's Groove? The freestylers were the one who represented dance games while the technicians dominated the difficult songs. It worked so great together in promoting these games. Now all you see are people in the arcade barely moving their feet, people just shake their head when they walk by.
I attract crowds when I play with my horrible freestyle at Six Flags. Probably because I look like I'm having fun while playing the songs. I could care less about score, and I welcome people to challenges whether or not they're good. Plenty of amateur players have learned a thing or two because I was willing to play with them.
omg, it's like the forum really. Any gaming based community could learn a thing or two by making it fun and not so competitive.

If I can make a file that doesn't have to be so streamy and fast, I'll make one. I try very hard to look at technical problems and body direction, but it doesn't mean I won't put tricky (or even double) steps every once in a while. Look at Daikenkai on oni, that song is ridiculous. I won't go that far, but I love being judged for the quality of my file, not the technicalities. I do listen to criticism though.
You also made a point on Expert through Beginner. I can't stress enough how annoying it is to see some epic expert chart and see a crappy standard chart. Every pad player was playing standard at one point. I try just as hard to make a fun standard chart as I do heavy. I actually think even harder for light, because those are the files that will determine whether someone wants to get into dance games or not. I make it so that they can get a challenge without breaking their back over continuous 8th stream. My file in VCP 3 (first real file of my start in simfile making) reflects that.
Enough ranting, but this is my insight on pad files in the current online community.
Bro, if you make a file, make it exactly the way you want it. If you make easier files, even better (I appreciate them, and even make them myself on occassion). DDR-style, especially. Just because its says "PAD" doesn't mean you have to make yours "ITG"
PS Sync is one of my favourites, and doing the freestyle spins on R3 is something everyone I play with does You aren't the only one who plays for fun

PPS where can I download ya stuff
The problem is I don't want to be the guy that's trying to rebel against all these packs. It only makes one look cocky like he's trying to prove something, which I'm really not. But it does irritate me that all pad packs would never accept my files because they aren't strictly ITG style. Even my index files get a creative twist on them, I go back all the way to the days that I'd play things like Lawn Wake songs and easy spread songs using my index/three finger style. They were definitely different than most index songs, and were very underrated.
I'm always doing 10 things at once. I've been nonstop typing since I've gotten back from Boston two days ago, which is why I've yet to get to the rest of that Essay in the Literature thread. I have simfiles to step as well. I prioritize my list though, so if a lot of people were asking for DDR style simfiles I'd make them. But because no one really wants them, I put them for later.
I can link you to some of my files. I believe my Holography (Vocaloid + Guitar) has those awkwardly long freezes, but it was my first legit file, so it's bound to be amateur. I actually would edit them out the day I came out with a release of my files, like most simfile artists. I have Girls be Ambitious (Sora No Woto Ending), a file that would have been in S6 Anime Mix. Both of these are long files, so be prepared on pad. I also have a cut version of Puzzle (Vocaloid) for pad, with heavy being an added oni chart. I just forgot to switch the difficulties up. I have one more, that at this point I might as well release. One Master Blade, hardstyle song. It was meant to reflect The Max 300/Maxx Unlimited/Legend of Max style of stepping, with a second half reflecting the first part of Healing D Vision. It really is testing two different qualities in a pad player in one song. I'll fix the banner for that one and give you links in like five minutes in this post.

YES. I actually do the running man sometimes sideways.
One thing that you have to realize, is that I'm seeking out ITG-style charts because this IS an ITG-styled pack. Because of this, I'm expecting Expert charts to fill that quota while being proficiently stepped in a way that represents the music well, whether it be specific intensities, melodies, whatever. I am open to different styles, but it has to be executed well.
ITG is more of a speed-oriented game and intentional usage of abnormal patterns (intentional double-stepping) is frowned upon but can be dealt with if done properly. I'm just looking for good high-quality charts to have people hack onto an ITG machine. I'm very familiar with how DDR charts are stepped, but it's not entirely what I'm looking for.
EDIT: Rendering a preview video for Intersect Thunderbolt Doubles Expert (since it is going to be the boss on both singles and doubles), and then I'll get to reviewing what's up for now.
Of course Halogen, it's no problem. It's when a person says a DDR based file isn't "good" because all they play is ITG. I understand you know what a DDR based file is, I'm just worried about bias about people judging my files they don't think crossovers are fun. It's like all the ITG experience in the world couldn't judge a single DDR type file.
Now that I know you're looking for ITG style charts, I won't bother you with my files. None of them are ITG based, and the only ones that may resemble ITG files are my index ones. But even those have a bit too many jumps. I think I'll bring this DDR conversation to another thread, I really don't want to ruin the purpose of this thread, and I can kind of see I did. I apologize for that one.
I'll be making a new thread for this, so in respect to the pack being made here, please bring discussion to the new thread or another thread.

You didn't ruin it at all. Besides, with how slow this thread can get sometimes, I'm not going to get upset at a little bit of side conversation. I'm just trying to catch up on chart content before getting this pack finished, which is why I haven't reviewed anything yet -- I'm still working on doubles charts to try and catch up with all of the accepted content.
