It's just because they are over the 2 minute time limit that's allowed in ITG machines, and I can't change the time limit itself without editing the song. (Darn You Windows Vista).

Meh, I'll download. In all honesty though, this doesn't look too promising from the preview vids.

The thing that pisses me off about most pad files is that most people are like lolololol pad=easy amirite? NO.

Pad charts shouldn't be watered down keyboard charts.

Personally, I can nearly play on pad as good as I can in keyboard. And it pisses me off when people make charts so god damn easy for pad.

But hey, I will take all of this back if your other files change my opinion.

I'd say a staggering majority of pad players aren't as good as you

requiring pad files to be like 12+ is catering to the pad metagame

although odi-sanctioned keyboard packs cater to the keyboard metagame so ?_?

I figure that most causual players don't own a flashdrive (for ITG songs that is), and probably mostly play the machine's easier songs.

Also I'm playing through the pack right now. I'll write up a review when im finished.

You are missing my point. I'm saying that novice players probably aren't as interested or dedicated as more experienced players in pursuing edits. Also, review is done posting in a seperate post.

yeah but

if you're brand new to stepmania then you'll want easy songs to play on it

hence pad charts

if it's the other way around (heading to stepmania for edits) I see your point but it's not always

K, just to start off. You don't need to look for cuts in the future. Songs can be patched very easily. Also, the videos are nice but can't be used unless they are hacked onto the machine.

I'm going to be honest. I also think my opinion would coincide with most experienced ITG'ers.

Alright so here goes:

Angels - The steps match the music, but its understepped.
Chocolate Rain - Why didn't you follow the piano? There's such an obvious pattern to follow, but it seems you didn't want to make it too hard or something. I'm disappointed. =/
Cry Baby- Meh, boring. So far all of these songs are easy quad stars. Also you could have put rolls in the intro or something. Would have been a little more fun.
Dry the River- This one actually has potential. Probably a mid-9, but it seems like it could be fun on pad. There's also actually little streams in this one! Good job. But when you put a hold down and then an arrow on the opposite side of the pad, the player needs to crossover really quickly. You seem to do this a lot.
Gravity of Love- First easy song that’s not like OMGUNDERSTEPPED. It's still a little boring for my taste, but its a much better file than the first two easy songs. You are still doing the crossover holds a lot though. =(
Heart to Heart- Ugh, understepped etc. etc. Right after I gave you minor props too. It's fine if you want to make an easy chart, but for the hardest chart of the song don't understep so much. ;_;
Heaven's Earth- The opening arrows don't make much sense to me. Holds might have been more fitting. The rest of the chart is just a mediocre stream chart. A cameo by the crossover squad stopped by of course. Dude, crossovers don't need to be in every song.
I'll Fly With You Inside Out- Hurray! I like this one. Lol, the songs should have never been mixed, but the steps are well done. Finally something of moderate difficulty. I’ll probably give this one a shot on my dedicab. Oh yeah, a roll would probably be better at the very end rather than the hold, but that’s just nitpicking.
Island- Don’t like this one at all. =/ Slowdown was alright. Crossover issues + it’s just boring.
Lexington- Fun. Good use of hands and slowdown. I’m going to bitch about the crossovers again though. They just aren’t necessary. If I play this one I will cheat them. There is a time and place for them, and you need to find that balance. Good file overall though.
Mama Made Me A Pimp – Song is funny. So is the video. The steps however are too EASY. Jerry’s Kids could probably star this song.
Natsuiro No Kakera- Average. Sall’ right. Probably wouldn’t play it. Nothing extraordinarily bad about it though.
Ordinary Girl- This chart is good. Slowdown is fun, and I actually appreciate the crossovers in this song. Yes, you did good with crossovers. Gj. They aren’t too much, and make sense in relation to the other steps.
Overdrive- Hardest song yet. So-so steps. Nothing amazing or terrible.
Pretty Green Onions- Not even close to a 14. Mabye a 12. File was a disappointment. I’ve played much better PGO files.
Sousei No Aquarion- Like the first song, steps follow music just boring.
Take It Shake It- Not bad. Some of the steps feel a little forced though.
Toumei Shelter- The steps are icky. D: Don’t like the chart.
Tremble- Mediocre steps.
True Light- Pretty good. Goes offsync in the middle for a bit.
Tus Ojos- Boring… The stoplight thing was clever though.
Twinkle Heart- I can dig it. Good chart. Not too hard, but it looks like it will be fun on pad.
U+K- Second easy song that’s not terribly boring. Probably wouldn’t play it personally, but for more novice players this chart would be very nice.
White Destiny- Slightly above average. You used some patterns that I don’t really like, but its not a bad chart by any means.
Wish Resign- Don’t like it one bit. Mabye if the guitars were a little louder you could follow them? I dunno.

Overall the pack was just alright. There were a few good files, but nothing that blew my mind. I would encourage you to keep making files. I think you have potential.

In the future however, cut back on the ****ing crossovers. Also when making a song, don't try to dumb it down for the pad. I'll try out the files I liked on pad and get back to you.
