i think a lot of the problem with your files has to do with the song choice,
you don't have much room for creativity with the songs you choose.

@npv: My files are bland because I'm actually really easy to please. But I'm also at least reasonably organized, so that's why I also care about technicality. Not a good combination, which I know from life experience.

Well what I'm saying is that I really can't tell between what songs make a good file and what make a bad file, but I care about how I make the files. Most people who wouldn't care would guesstimate the BPM and record using 64th notes, but I'm at least that organized. Still, that doesn't mean I make good files.

moches if u had a decent song choice and picked more songs no one has stepped before or no one made a decent file for, i think i would play your files more often. try stepping vid game music (this always is a good option for people who need practice stepping) and make sure u like the song u step. i'll try your angel eyes later and give you some feedback.

edit: i played angel eyes..the freezes in the beginning were annoying and some weren't needed. the one for the symbal wasn't needed at all. if you wanted to include the freezes, you should have used 32nd freezes or even 64th freezes. those are less annoying, especially when you are trying to hit a 16th stream. if you want a number judge rating thing, i would give it a 8/10. it is very fun.

Engrish or not, this post is completely retarded.
First, stay off the Internet (or at least English sites) if you can't speak correct English. I mean no offense in this, but you might as well go to that french DDR site. People can barely, including moches, decipher your posts.
Second, stop criticizing people when you have no credibility yourself. If I may point out that Moches is known to be a very good stepfiler?
Third, stop flaming. You keep telling people dumb things in even dumber English. The outcome is just about at the level of the comeback you get from the retard who sits at the back of the class.
Fourth, it is completely retarded to even suggest that moches cannot judge the quality of simfiles because of his ****ing graphics, for God's sake. What the hell do graphics have to do with skill in simfile making and/or judging?
Fifth, you shouldn't assume moches made these graphics himself. As he said in the above posts, other people made the graphics. It's much more logical to bitch to the people who made the graphics then to the simfile maker, idiot. Or better yet, don't bitch at all, because your skill at it is equivalent to a crack baby.

very rarely does the two combinations work. for exmp, cetaka's simfiles had aggravating as **** parts but they're still fun.
