Alright rusty6. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it but I'll try to take a look into it later. Right now I'm currently booked with other projects that I need to finish.

Well I had another busy semester in school and now that I'm on break I can finally finish some simfiles for Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix. Here's another one that I plan on adding to the mix:

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS 2nd Ending Theme: "Beautiful Amulet" by Yukari Tamura

    BPM: 160-176
    Step Difficulties: x / 4 / 6 / 9 / x

    My description from Bemanistyle:

Another one of possible but likely entries for Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix, the name of this song is "Beautiful Amulet" and it's the 2nd ending theme to the new and awesome Nanoha season Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat and background music. There are a few 8th notes but listen to the music and you will be okay.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat and lyrics.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the lyrics and background music.

Video?: The 2nd ending video is included.

      Re: koa5001's Simfiles

Here's another update that I have for Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix:

BLOOD+ 3rd Opening Theme: "Colors of the Heart" by UVERworld

      BPM: 170
      Step Difficulties: x / 4 / 7 / 9 / x

      My description from Bemanistyle:

Another one of my entries for Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix, this song is the 3rd opening theme to the awesome anime series BLOOD+. I've always wanted to do a UVERworld simfile after hearing D-technoLife and I think everything turned out well! Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat and lyrics.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the lyrics and background music.

Video?: The 3rd opening video is included.
      Download!: http://www.bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=21520

I'm thinking about possibly adding one more song to the mix but I haven't decided which one yet. I'll think about it while I work on other projects.

Thanks again everyone! Have fun and enjoy!

        Re: koa5001's Simfiles

After 5 months I'm finally back on the simfiling job! Here's one that I've been working on for a while now:

Shakugan no SHANA II Opening: "JOINT" by Mami Kawada

        BPM: 180
        Step Difficulties: x / 4 / 7 / 9 / x

        My description from Bemanistyle:

After a long 5 month absence, I'm finally back to writing simfiles again! College has really been keeping me busy. Fortunately I had an excellent semester so I'm taking it easy and starting up on simfiles once more! Here's on that I've had planned for a very long time now. It's the opening theme to the Shana sequel, Shakugan no SHANA II. I haven't had time to watch it but from what I've heard it's pretty good so I'm itching to watch it soon! Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat mostly. There are a few 8th notes throughout the chart but listen to the music and you will be okay.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat and lyrics.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the lyrics and background music.

Video?: The opening video is also included.

*I tried to keep my Hishoku no Sora simfile in mind when I created this since it was by the same artist and both songs kinda had the same feel to me so you might notice some similarities if you've played my Hishoku no Sora simfile before.

Hmmm...you should try to step other stuff so you can broaden your stepping patterns.

And submit to Etheral Rising, we'd love to see what you got.

No problem rusty6. I'll be sure to keep you updated if anything comes up!

Don't worry Raine. Once I get a few anime sims out of the way I've got some more video game and DJMAX simfiles coming so be on the lookout for those! Also the Etheral Rising pack looks really interesting but unfortunately one of the rules says that all submitted simfiles should include challenge steps and I don't write challenge steps very often unless I feel that a particular song needs them. I'm sure some people would disagree with me but I believe that a simfile doesn't have to be super hard or gimmicky in order for it to be good and fun. But I'll see what I can come up with after I get some stuff out of the way.

Anyway since Jubo opened the floodgates on simfile submissions for Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix, I've decided to add 3 more simfiles to my list bringing my total to 6 simfiles for OD5. Here's my 4th simfile that I plan on entering:

Rosario + Vampire Opening Theme: "COSMIC LOVE" by Nana Mizuki

                BPM: 185
                Step Difficulties: x / 4 / 6 / 9 / x

                My description from Bemanistyle:

I've decided that I will be adding an additional 3 simfiles to Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix bringing my total to 6 simfiles that will be going into the mix so here's my 4th planned simfile for OD5. It's the opening theme to the interesting and funny anime Rosario + Vampire. A little too much ecchi at times but still good nonetheless! Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect from each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat mostly. There are some 8th notes throughout the chart but listen to the music and you will be fine.

My 5th entry for Otaku's Dream 5th Anime Mix, the name of this song is "Dancing in the velvet moon" (The title got cut off so I had to shorten it) and it's the ending theme to the interesting anime series Rosario + Vampire. Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should look out for in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat. There are a couple of 8th notes near the end but listen to the music and you will be fine.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat, lyrics, and background music.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the lyrics and background music. The steps are paddable but can be played on keyboard if you choose to do so.

                        Re: koa5001's Simfiles

After a one year hiatus, I'm starting to come back to making simfiles again. Here's one that I left on the shelf but just finished recently:

                        DJMAX: "V-BOB" by Forte Escape

                        BPM: 150
                        Step Difficulties: x / 3 / 7 / 9 / x

                        My description from Bemanistyle:

After a nearly one year absence, I'm starting to come back to the simfiling scene once again. Here's one that I had sitting around for a while and found the time to finish it. It's a nice "Big Band" song from DJMAX and kinda reminds me of Tank from Cowboy Bebop. Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow mostly the downbeat. there are a few 8th and 16th notes but listen to the music and you will be okay.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat, melody, and background music.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the melody and background music.

Video?: The DJMAX BGA is also included.

I will continue to make simfiles, however releases will be VERY slow due to the fact that I'm still in school trying to finish up my undergraduate degree and that will take up a lot of time.

                          DJMAX: "Out Law" by Croove

                          BPM: 126
                          Step Difficulties: x / 3 / 5 / 9 / x

                          My description from Bemainstyle:

Here's a really cool sounding "Nu Skull" (pronounced "New School") song from DJMAX! Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat mostly. There are a few 8th and 16th notes but listen to the music and you will be okay.

                            My description from Bemanistyle:

Here's another song from DJMAX. This time around it's a "Funky Techno" song, and was one of my favorites to play on the online servers back in the day when it was running. Light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat. There's a 16th note jump at the very end. Just listen for it and you'll be okay.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat and background music.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the melody and background music. I kept the official DJMAX normal style chart in mind when I created the steps so you might notice some similarities. The rhythms are kind of tricky but listen to the music and you'll be just fine.

Video?: The DJMAX anime-styled BGA is also included.

Another awesome DJMAX song that you can also hear when playing S4 League, an online shooter from Pentavision Entertainment, the creators of DJMAX:

                              DJMAX: "Starfish" by Planetboom

                              BPM: 150
                              Step Difficulties: x / 3 / 5 / 9 / x

Another cool song from DJMAX. It's a "Techno Core" song that's kind of similar to KUDA and is also featured in S4 League, a third person online shooter from DJMAX's creator, Pentavision Entertainment. You can hear the song on one of the Touchdown maps. Anyways, light, standard, and heavy steps are available. Here's what you should expect in each difficulty:

LGT: The steps follow the downbeat. There's a few 8th notes but listen to the music and you'll be fine.

STD: The steps follow a combination of the downbeat and background music.

HVY: The steps follow a combination of the melody and background music.

Video?: The DJMAX anime-styled BGA is also included.

                              * There's also a short pause at the very beginning of the song. It's used for syncing purposes only and is nothing major.
