WHAT THE ****! you spend 8 hours a day on stepmania? I don't even HAVE 8 hours a day to spend on stepmania unless you want me to sleep less than 4 hours a night. There's a BIG difference between being too lazy to step a simfile and not wanting to spend every waking second of my time on ****ing STEPMANIA.

I could **** out 4 simfiles in an hour. who needs 8 hours to make 4 bad simfiles?

Hahaha, your funny, 8hrs to make 4 simfiles is a freakin joke, i could make 50+ in 8 hrs. if I really tried. I spend from when i get home from work, to when i return to work on SM pretty much, your talking to a guy who has NO friends in the outside world except my co-workers or parents. And I could really give a **** that I am that way. I'm not a social person, I prefer my privacy and being isolated from others. I've been single all my life and got no problem with it. I consider SM not my life really, but more of a hobby. That is unless you plan on being my friend or some crap. But I'm afraid I'd have to decline on that one.

thank you for choosing the worst possible music ever. Black UFO is the least gay song out of the 3, but I still hate it. rofl I can't even imagine what you did with Lugia song. It's slow freezes for the whole song.

alright here we go... we already made simfiles to the same song so uh let's compare those first.

Mine is really bad, was made in one hour over a year ago by using random 16th stream. I'm sure it will be as good or better than the one you made last month by most likely using the exact same technique.

I actually bothered to get to the end.
A more in-depth response: Dballin's patters were better (not just boring trills, running men, and unreadable crossover ****) and the BPM changes were nice. Also, his steps actually followed the piano melody, as opposed to the random 8th jacks in your file. Furthermore, the NVLM_ZK style ending was absolutely wrong, and totally unessecary.

With a file that repetitive, patterns and tricks are important, as is proper sync.

Steps are way more important bro. I don't care if they're the coolest graphics ever, I sure as hell am not going to play a file with as bad and repetitive as yours. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but you've gotten plenty of proactive feedback but, you just don't seem to take the advice and roll with it. You need to learn this. Also, instead of making so many files, Spend more time just making one.

Thanks for the tip, but I prefer doing things my own way. Everyone has their own way of doing things, but not everyone does everything the same way. I could give an example as such: Exige to Me, point proven, I know he's way more popular than I'll ever become, but that just makes me try more and more to reach his level some day. He comes out with a new sim it seems like every other 2 weeks or so, I can't remember the last time he released one, and there is always people who just can't wait to get it. I admit....in a way, he's kinda like an idol/(simfile-wise of course)/goal if you will. So maybe someday I'll become as good as him, maybe I won't, I won't play Stepmania forever, the risk of carpal tunnel increases everytime I play, some people don't know that, but know 1 or 2 people who have gotten it already, and they haven't reached age 18 yet, means they need to lay off a bit. Sorry to go off topic so much, but thankx for the advice anyway. And I have spent some time on single files before, but still they are said to "suck" or are "stupid" anyway, so it's not a big deal anymore to me.

Put more than one days effort into making files. Try to find a song that has interesting beats/sounds rather than just a song that sounds good (that doesn't mean you can't step good music, it just means that it's a lower priority). There are already enough simfiles out there. If we wanted more, we would want them to be of good quality.

ps Exige has made a total of 1 really good file. He's only decent at creating simfiles.

I spent far less time learning photoshop than I did playing stepmania and I don't even have it installed on my computer now. I REALLY need to do a system restore on this thing to make it work the way it used to. I'll try and do it this week sometime, but a full time job is hella time consuming.

I've never played your Cold Breath file and I haven't played mine in well over 6 months so I didn't actually konw how that would turn out. hehe

ps: I'm gonna have a hard time stepping Black UFO because I dislike the song, but I'll still do it. It doesn't sound that hard to step at all.
