thats fine, to be blunt I really liked my chart as is and wasn't gonna change it anyway

I'm sorry you dont like the pack, would you mind sharing some comments about some files you didn't care for? Its kind of hard to take criticism like that seriously when you don't elaborate

                Re: Yolomania Vol. 2 Released!

                you got it

First off, the largest thing that stands out is song choice. Back to the Gate, Bandz a Make Her Dance, Brute Force, Die By The Sword. I'm sure you see what I'm getting at. Based off of the sample music for these files, they are very easy to pass up without having a second thought. What does ecology pla bring to the table? Just listening to the sample music, I think of colored notes to the vocal samples, and generic 8th patterns. I mean, you literally accepted a file for Bonfire by Knife Party sped up to 240 BPM. How can I honestly take this seriously?

Another large thing that stands out are the amateurish graphics. A lot of them just don't look good. To be totally honest, if I took out the cdtitles, this pack would look a lot like a generic chilean pack.

Diving into the files, my first impressions were, more often than not, holding true.

Air Heroes - A vast majority of the file is arbitrary jumpstream; it's not consistent with what's going on in the song. Mine gimmicks are unwieldly.

All You Gotta Do - Terribly boring.

Back to the Gate - A standard case of "Literally Every Other Sharpnel Jumpstream File"

Bandz A Make Her Dance - Boring except for the 64th rolls, which don't occur enough.

Beastie Starter - The intro is honestly the best part of the file. The rest of the file is really overlayered and just not interesting.

Brute Force - I quit out after playing a little bit of the section that occurs at m56.

Calamity Fortune - Pretty good. Could have used more mine, and that 400 BPM section fits well.

Call Me It - Completely unfun, inconsistent, and the layering makes no sense.

After playing this one, I just felt like there was no need to go on.

I'm curious what witty banter you'll come up with for that one.

I'm not gonna really defend anything because literally every comment you made is subjective. Sorry the pack isn't for you. I personally like the vast vast majority of the songs in the pack from a listening standpoint and find the steps to many of them very interesting.

                      noticeable layering inconsistencies
solo is really messy looking, plays decently though

you're really bad at making cuts lmao

edit: you asked for criticism because you didn't take my first comment seriously, so when I elaborated, you basically said "I don't care about your criticism"

if that's going to be how it is, then feel free to defend your mediocre pack

oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to come across like that. I was just acknowledging that the pack really wasn't for you since you didn't like the songs. I do appreciate the elaboration but for you to jump out and say "this pack sucks" was a bit crass. Your post basically just listed some files and said "I didn't like it" so that's fine. I wasn't trying to break new grounds here anyway and you shouldn't have expected that.

                            it does suck though

there are only a few files from this pack that I would ever play, and I'm sure I'm not the only that thinks so

pull every file except ilikexd's and scintill and you'd have a decent pack ^^ (and maybe some mrtea files)
