Re: My second stepfile - Labyrinth of Logic
Not fond of the 64ths to represent the percussion near the end, because that's going to add a lot of messy frame discrepancies when converted to FFR. Obviously, with this being your second simfile, you can't be expected to understand that right away, haha
The song is a bit long too -- perhaps a cut would do you good.Comment

Those are actually 192nds (the noteskin is messed up). I added them to show the PR of the piano on that part. If they're really bad, I'll take them out.Not fond of the 64ths to represent the percussion near the end, because that's going to add a lot of messy frame discrepancies when converted to FFR. Re: My second stepfile - Labyrinth of Logic
If it's for the piano, it seems quite inconsistent. If the piano is a running melody, you shouldn't really be choosing random 192nds to accent specific notes unless there's something -really- special for it (like, a jarring dissonated note or something of the like).
It's funny that you said it's not for the snares in the percussion, because after multiple glances, it looks like follows the percussion pretty well (albeit, disappearing in and out). I'd personally remove the 64ths either way -- it makes your chart structure less questionable.Comment

No, they are for the snares, lol. The normal colored notes are for the piano. I chose to color the snares differently because I wanted the main colors to show the PR of the piano in that part XP.If it's for the piano, it seems quite inconsistent. But won't the frame issues be minimized if they're 192nds?
I sent it to the batch like this. Is there still time to send it again?Last edited by Zaevod; 07-17-2013, 10:29 AM.Comment

Oh ok, I was right, haha.
It's not a huge deal when testing in SM, but it'll be bad when it converts. If the file is accepted, you can make the fix afterward.
