    DF is overrated IMO because they have no musical ability.

    What I mean by that is:
    a) they are great technical players in-studio when they can take as many tries as they need, but live they can't even tune their guitars right
    b) their songwriting is horrible (screw dragons)
    c) their chord progressions are generic and all of their music is just playing as fast as they possibly can at all times
    d) they have no subtlety, they just play balls-to-the-wall at all times. their only dynamic contrast is when instruments drop out
    e) they may be good guitarists/drummers/etc. but they are not good musicians
    f) screw dragons and fire and victory

            im trying to do lots of dragonforce songs i finished operation ground and pound you can find that in simfile database. and im working on flame of youth.

                    b)This i can agree on. It's not even that dragons/etc are bad, just that the lyrics are more like rambling with random fantasy words than trying to tell a story, convey feelings, send a message, represent something, or anything that decent lyrics do
                    c)disagree. they can go a lot faster than 200 BPM (CotB is 215) and that's what they usually seem to play at. as for chord progressions, no comment
                    d)i don't think that's a bad thing. it's power metal, who cares about subtlety.

                        Omegaspike has stepped alot of Dragonforce and they're pretty good. His Through the Fire and Flames and Fury of the Storm are great and fun to play. Check here for more of his stepfiles.

                            I play the Dragon Force pack to attract people to play SM. The band is just that popular.

                            Once, a girl asked me if the Stepmania I was playing was Guitar Hero. It seems as if they are only known on Guitar Hero, but not anywhere else.

                            I think we can use a better DragonForce pack, don't you all think?

                                I'm not crazy about them, but I like Dragonforce so, I'd download it.

                                        Well what can i say, i am a true dragonforce supporter.
                                        I've been to 3 conserts, going to the next in feb.
                                        I got df soft pants, df socks, df hoodshirt, df t-shirt and df wristband.
                                        Yeah i've been listening to them for about 2-3 years and i aint tired.
                                        About stepmania, some files are really amusing and nice to play because of the consistency.
                                        Who can complain in such a band when no other plays like them

                                            Me too, i like them. I like to play their song. IMO the guitar is awesome because the speed etc etc. But the only song i really play on SM is MSWGO for challenging <3
