    Does StepMania have support for an 8-button game (up-left, up, up-right, right, down-right, down, down-left, and left)?

        Umm.. The Techno motion support that I mentioned IS the 8-button one that you said. It is at plasmadance but it's also the magical land of broken links .

            Yeah, I was hoping I could download it somewhere because the link is broken.

            EDIT: I found it. http://www.plasmadance.com/ In the dropdown menu, click Gametypes, under StepMania. I don't know about the other ones, but I downloaded the Techno Motion Support and it works.
