try crossing over with your fingers even on just the regular arrow keys it's really not as hard as people say(that's what i do)

and on foot you have to do more than just cross you need to turn your whole body.

PS Godhand try Not playing on your tip toes so much and when you cross(under) behind your back i mean use your heel to hit it.

the only crossovers i really have trouble reacting to are 68486 , 48684, and sometimes 62426, im usually fine when it comes to 42624 if my foot actually reaches the other side and touches the right arrow. and i try to turn my whole body but on some fast songs i tend to want to double step more often.
i dont think i while ever get the hang of 68486 that one just feel too damn awkward :-/

Turn your ENTIRE BODY toward the position you are moving in. The most common mistake steppers make while hitting crossovers is not shifting their body weight toward their next step. Don't get to carried away though you don't want to become off balance. ALot of people think DDR is just moving your feet and reading arrows with your eyes ITS NOT. A tip i found useful while playing DDR is to take one hand off the bar when doing crossovers you normally double step. This gives you more freedom to turn your waist toward your next step.

ok i think i found a song to help me a lot. "hit and slap" on super nova seems to have a lot of steps where you have to turn your body. i think ill try playing this about 10 times

ok "theme from enter the dragon" and "cant stop falling in love" on extreme 1 are turning me over its knee and spanking me like a little girl while forcing me to say "im a preeety girl"

mainly is the alternating between crossover patterns is killing me now talkin about like a 42624 then right after a 62426.

any advice for this bs? or is it the same stuff you guys have been helping me with?

Play 1 level speed mod lower than usually play and you should hit it.

x3 is usually my speed for everything under 180 bpm. thing is i can read slower songs, but my timing with my feet is not good at all. i try listening to the song but that really doesnt help that much. playing slow songs on stepmania is so much easier lol
