way easier to show off at an arcade rather than at home. And truthfully anyone here who's good at itg or ddr, REALLY want to make people go " OMG thats teh wowzers!" i know i like doin that even if it does cost money to play at an arcade, rather than free at home

I play ITG. ITG has the stuff that DDR lacked, which is harder and more interesting stepcharts. I think it's fun, and that it plays out like StepMania, only it's for the PS2, not for PC. If you played songs like Indulgence, Pac-Man, and Take Me Back on StepMania, You'll find out that those songs have mines that you don't step on. If you played songs like Blow Me Up, Moonlight, Sweet, and Rainbow Flyer(Vocal mix) on StepMania, you'll find out that there's hand moves(the ones that lets you hit 3 or 4 arrows at the same time). Hand moves and mines are what you see on some ITG songs.

SM had all of that stuff you're saying before ITG.

ITG really is literally a dumbed down version of SM that COSTS MONEY.

The only reason to play ITG over SM is if you're going to an arcade. And the only reason to go to an arcade is if you play VERY little and it's not worth the investment of a few hundred dollars for a nice pad.

Another popular arguement: "more songs lol" Ever heard of edit/sync steps? You can make your own steps to literally ANY SONG, or download others steps. Sure, most people make keyboard only, but others make pad also, or EASY KEYBOARD STEPS which can be played on pad if you so choose (and are good enough...).
