My girlfriend called up today and mentioned it to me. Everyone seems to say its easy. But sounds fun altogether!

DDR 1st mix's hardest song was about an 8-footer, which is the same as Bowser's Castle on Very Hard. Given that this is the first Cube DDR, I think everyone ought to stop whining about how it's more oriented towards newbies. It's no easier than the first DDR game. Not everyone is a heavy-playing superfreak, so stop saying it sucks because it isn't challenging. Being a newbie to DDR myself, since I don't own a PS2 or Xbox, I found this game quite challenging. I'm sure if they release a sequel, there will be harder songs.

true, true. I really can only dance 8-9 footers 9 if i am on a sugar rush. I did do a ten once but I was so hyper i nearly had a spaz attack.

This game has been a blast for me. The music is very catchy, the steps aren't annoyingly hard, and it's just a chillin' fun game. The pad is excellent, too.

The game wasn't designed for DDR players or masters. It was for average people to have fun. I think they did a good job on that.

I don't think you should, I heard the hardest mode was standard or something...but that's just what I heard.

Actually, the hardest song on DDR 1st mix was either Afronova or Dnynamite Rave, both which are 9 footers. If the game isn't difficult, it is not really worth my money because I am always looking for a challenge. A good example of this is ITG. Also, I don't want to buy a dance pad for Gamecube because this is the only game it is usable for. Just like Donkey Konga, I didn't buy it because of the money dished out for the special controllers. Yeah, the minigames might be fun, but it is overall a waste of my time and money.

I actually rented this game for the long weekend; since i'm a complete newbie at DDR, i've never gotten a chance to play it before.

I'll post a small review sometime tomorrow or something.

Sorry, I was thinking of home version... It is Paranoia on 1st mix in the arcade...
