DDR parties!

I now envy you all. I wish i could throw a DDR party, but I have about 3 friends who actually like ddr and are not so embarassingly bad that they refuse to play.

I did once have this wild idea of organizing a DDR marathon for charity, maybe going for a record of 40 hours or something like that. Me and whoever else I could round up would take turns playing one at a time (to give the others more rest between turns) until we couldn't dance anymore. Then I realized...I suck at organizing events.

I still think that if it was in the hands of someone responsible enough, it could be pulled off.

hey I like that idea, I'd so come, but I'm probably nowhere near where you live...

yeah not too long ago, I guess it was *sortof* a ddr party, Crono and some of his buddies from Calgary took a road trip to Leth where I even arranged for a DDR Cake (sorry its not the best picture):


that was SO much fun, I hope to have something like that again in the future.

PSU has "parties" all the time - someone brings food, I supply SM, a computer and 2 CF pads, and 6-8 people always show up. They usually run for 6-10 hours, and we have them about 3 times a week. Playing with other people makes DDR a million times more fun, IMO.
