wow, I notice a lot of you dont have many posts, some of you joined last year, and have only like 50 posts.


Now to the main topic:

Me and my bro found a DDR machine. Both of us bieng newbs, didnt quite know how to work it. My bro picked the first song, and it was on friggin heavy. Needless to say, we both failed miserably, 8 people were laughing the hell out of themselves, and the manager said that we sucked so much, we even got our tokens back....

Not embarassing, just humbling.

First time I went to an arcade (I had played on a soft Ignition-style pad at home for 5 months) I thought I could handle my own against anybody. Turns out, I was wrong. This girl was hanging around the machine, and she was kind of cute so I offered to pay for her game if she wanted to play. So, me being the egotist that I am, thought it would be impressive to try and beat her at "The Least 100 Seconds" on 2x speed. So we start the song, and needless to say I fail the song within 40 arrows. By the end of the song, I was completely out of breath, sweaty, and beat. So I turn to the screen and here she had FC AA'd the song! I could tell that the people around the machine thought I was a tough guy because they were all smiling when she beat me. Sigh... this was the day I was put in my place like a chump!

One time I was playing Rhythm and Police...which I usually A, but failed miserably. I sucked horribly throughout the next song, got really frustrated, and just sat down on the pad while my friend was still playing next to me.

I remember the first time I played DDR. We were housing a student from Japan, and on the last day, all the families that were housing them all threw some little farewell thing for them. They had set up a DDR through the playstation (yes, this is the very first version). I tried to play it. Needless to say, I was even laughed at by the japanese people.

it was my first time playing ddr and i played at nerv lan center...they have ultramix 2 set up on an xbox connected to a 19 foot projection screen...yes 19 feet. so i started out...doing random beginner songs...after about two i was like..yeah i look like a retard so i put it on light and did all the songs....well the last song or two....happened to be around 200-300 bpm.

so me, having about 30 minutes of ddr experience...was trying to do a very fast song with a lot of arrows...i ended up falling off the pad and playing the rest with my hands...needless to say i didnt pick that one again.

since then ive been playing sm a lot and my arrow reading skills are up.

I was at a skaying rink and my boyfriend. Well, I was going to show off my DDR skills to my boyfriend and I was doing great. But when I saw him watching me I got nervous. I was wearing socks and I sliped and fell backwards over the bar. It was so embarrassing, esp. in front of my boyfriend. - O.o -

oooo that sux lol, another today happened to me i was at the arcade and i was just playin around on easy songs havin fun with it and i was hmmmmm i wanna do a hard song, and by that time i was warmed up. so i played max 300 and i was doing good and about 30 seconds into the song my shoe came off and i fell! got back up played again and A'ed it. the reason it was so embarrasing is b/c these 2 hot girls from my school were watching me and when i fell they laughed!

Never been embarrased playing DDR, right from the first day I started I was on Heavy and well whatever I can do out here in my area is better than anyone else that I've seen and I'm not THAT great but I can like FC Max300 most of the time and stuff like that so like.. If I fail it's like OHHHHHH TOO BAD..try again? and if I pass they're like "whoa wtf insane" but in french you know..

that's impressive...I was spinning on Sana, and fell and hit my head on the bar, didn't break any bones, but went unconcious for a while...

back when i had just gotten into heavy mode, i tried to do end of the century in arcade and not only did i miss most of the arrows because i was off center, i also stepped off the pad trying to land a left press and twisted my ankle pretty bad. as i rarely ever play ddr in arcades, this would have to be my most embarrasing, but then i came back the same day and pwned some peoples.

Ok was at a local tourney[last round] was losing by alot it was a someone goes then you go highest score wins he had A'd all of his songs[all standard]I had a B'd 2 and A'd 1.I had one chance to beat him...[he was 16][I was 13 at the time]I choose Healing Vision Angelic mix I was getting all perfects tilll the last about 20 notes of the song[I had a really bad cramp the entire game]I start blacking out fall down sideways wake up 5 minutes later and sit down for 10-20 minutes not being able to get up...walked home defeated and completely worn out... :*(

I was watching somebody free style and he was doing break dance moves,he tried to do this move going for the front arrow snd ended up flipping backwards over the rail but he was lucky and landed on his knees.

I think i beat you all, but not with embarrisment. I was playing ddr back in the days of 3rd mix and step step revolution if any of you know what that is. So... any way this guy comes on the pad next to me and decides to make fun of me and attempt to immatate so i do a bar hop, he tries and fails miserably he and his buddy's thought it was pretty funny so then i jumped up planted one foot on the machine and spun around and kicked him in the chest he flew over the bar and landed on his back, they didnt think it was too funny after that
