Well, the OP has been updated with the new rule and Panel members. However, I just saw a flaw. Hypothetically, we come down to Silvuh VS Lonevvolf. Does this mean we force them to hurt themselves and heal their opponet? Yes, according to the new rule. The way I see it, we have few options. We need to amend the rule and have it state one of the following:

"No participant may hurt or heal themself. If the event occurs where they are in the final 2, they may hurt/heal themself."

"No participant may hurt or heal themself. If the even occurs where they are in the final 2, they are still disallowed to act upon themself."

Or something along those lines.

Yeah, at least let them heal themselves if they are the last two people remaining.

Edit: That's my opinion at least. I wasn't sure if you were asking the general public or stating that was going to be up for discussion for the panel.
Edit2: If one of those panel members decides to leave or is inactive or whatever, can I be a replacement? I forgot to respond to your post the other day about being surprised I didn't volunteer in the first place, so yeah.

I'd be honored to have you on the Panel. There are 2 members who are relatively inactive, so I'll talk with the latter of them.

And to address the issue of the rule, the way it seemed to work positively is to give ideas, have the community offer feedback and suggestions, decide on the best of the options, and the Panel votes.

So, we're kind of in the first stage. I'm putting out an issue and proposal and allowing for ideas. It does seem most strategic to allow them to heal themself in the final 2.

If we allow people to heal themselves in the final two, why not let people self-heal any time they can?
I PMed rzr my reasons for voting against the rule, but now that he's looking to the community for suggestions... May as well restate some of what I said...

Why don't people like it when someone self-heals? Is it because people find the act selfish? I think that may be a reason... So to address that reason: is it actually selfish to not want to help your competitors?
And thinking of the issue another way, I thought... Well, you don't heal someone you don't like, right? If I can't heal myself, it's like I'm not allowed to like myself... and that's kind of silly.

So, yeah. I'm for abolishing the rule instead of amending it. But if you won't remove the rule, well, here are just a few ideas...
- You can hurt yourself any time you can. Not being allowed to hurt yourself doesn't make the rule any more fair.
- You can heal yourself if you're in the bottom half (or some amount) of the leader board.
- You can heal yourself if you're in the last two.
If you can't heal or hurt yourself in the final two, then you aren't allowed to participate in the game anymore. If you are allowed to hurt but not heal yourself, and you're in the lead (to where it would take a flock of opposers for you to lose the lead), if you wanted to participate you would have to slow the progress of the game.

I'm not hurting or healing anyone right now. Just talking about this rule.

When we break it down there's really only a few options. Either we let them act upon themself in the final two, or not at all. I'm game for a simple "If you're in the final two you may act upon yourself."

And it's not that I won't remove it, it's just that the entire rest of the Panel voted for it. So, we need to either re-vote, remove it, or amend it.

Also, the game is really simple... Take a point from one player and make it red. Give one to another player and make it blue...
