Ulrejaz is a Protoss Dark Templar in the StarCraft universe.
He is introduced in Enslavers: Dark Vengeance. Like many Dark Templar, especially those in his army, the Fist of Ulrejaz, he hates the Protoss of Aiur.
Along with a trio of Dark Templar, he attacked three high-born Templar on Aiur, interrupting a mission launched to rescue them. Only one of the Templar survived. Ulrejaz was then arrested and taken to Shakuras for trial.
Using connections he had made with Schezar's Scavengers, he and his minions escaped. They stole a sacred Khaydarin Crystal and fled the planet.
Through an unknown process, he fused with three Dark Templar to create a very powerful, but insane, Dark Archon, with Ulrejaz as the dominant personality. Alan Schezar claimed Ulrejaz was insane even before this event.
Ulrejaz's plan of revenge against the Protoss of Aiur was two-fold. He constructed a space platform over Shakuras to launch his assault. One half involved activating Schezar's powerful EMP generator over the planet, draining the psionic energies of the Protoss. He also hoped to use warped Khaydarin Crystals to mutate Zerg he had captured, rendering them more powerful and immune to the effects of the Xel'Naga Temple. He hoped the Dark Templar would hide in their secret places on Shakuras, while the Protoss from Aiur would be caught in the open and destroyed by the Fist of Ulrejaz and his Zerg.
However, Zeratul interfered with at least one of the plans and defeated the other one. Ulrejaz survived, and it is said his hatred still burns hotter than the brightest star.
