1. Have you set your keymaps so that they work with keys you choose?
2. Have you chosen a solid speedmod, not something that doesn't end in 5 or 0?
3. Have you Right-Clicked --> UNCHECKED Hardware Acceleration?

I had the same problem as you until I changed my speedmod to 1.8

Help! The game isn't registering my keytaps!

For this problem, make sure you are setting your speed mod correctly. Your speed mod must end in 5 or 0 (1.0, 1.25, 1.875, etc.) and you have to click "Set Speed" for it to work.

Another issue may be your key setup. Some setups will register three or more taps at once. If you're using something like askl and you find yourself having issues with taps not registering on a proper speed mod, try using another setup. If you have StepMania, you can check if your keys work together by going into Options -> Test Input. Try hitting all 4 keys together and see if they show up at the same time.

lol, Nsanes engine is such an issue for people, he should really fix this so we dont have to keep seeing these threads.

For now, just use speed mods with an increment of 5 and 0.

I have yet to see NSane make a recent post. Where is he?

I guess he hasn't been posting, but he is active in the "meetings" that the dev team is involved in. He's been giving us notice of his progress and what's happening, so that's where the news comes from. Hope that answers your question.

Well, he's just been keeping us updated in the conversations, but they're not recorded or anything. He's most recently (today at 4PM EST) been working on fixing the speedmods, where he found why people were getting boos on certain mods.
