Good idea +1. What if the tokens weren't actually for songs and it was just a contest to see who could find the most eggs? Then the winner(s) get prizes like shirts or subs.

I think this could be fun. However, I also think the tokens should be a limited number each. Makes it a little more competitive. Like a real easter egg hunt.

I don't really want a situation where a long time from now (say 2010) there are a whole heap of tokens that are completely impossible to get. It might be fun to somehow restrict the tokens on the day itself (limited availability, contests to see who gets them the fastest, sporadic hints), but after the Easter fest is over anyone should be able to get the tokens at any time. Or you could just not make them tokens at all, just be little egg icons, and then give people prizes based on how many eggs they find and how quickly they find them.

Also, you could make really hard tokens that include things other than songs. You could put in like credit prizes, subby prizes, gift card prizes to the shop ect. Catch is the first person to find it gets the prize. So it's not like a massive burden to the site and money.

It takes a lot more creativity to make regular tokens, which is why they are planning this ahead of time. It's a really good occasion where they can not only empty the queue, but add more tokens.

If we are awarded with a token that is dependent on our amount of eggs we get, not everyone will be able to have a certain song.

I would be pissed if only 10 or even 100 people could play a simfile of mine. I'd be sad if it were a limited number of tokens given out or even time-limited.

Also, we need a queue-clearing event? The queue is not that large as it is and it's not getting big very quickly.
