How do I run FFR so it doesn't lag at all?

Because here, It's bad...It lags so much that I just can't play. I thought part of it was that I was rusty, which I am, but most of it is lag. And it's bothering me.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I guess I just want a reduction in lag. I want it to run on this machine like it did at home, which is to say, no lag.

*nods* It reduces the lag, aye, but also makes the game tiny. I'm running 1900x1440 rez on this box.

is it the same computer that you used at home? or a different computer. because.... college ethernets are almost always extremely fast... which leads me to believe it's the computer, not the connection.

and, i'd try low Q. hit the Q button in the upper left twice.

Hmm...The problem is that 600 people are using the same damn connection. It's a different computer, but it ran FFR just fine at home. It's an Alienware running Vista...Which might be the problem. *shrugs* I don't know.

I do seem to recall plenty of people complaining of lag with vista in other threads.

Why anyone would get Vista before it had been out for at least two full years is baffling to me.
