Re-Step Off-Beat Songs

I did search, so kill me if a thread like this is already out there.

So...

Would is be a good suggestion to re-step older off-beat songs? Some of the originals are extremely off of the beat, and annoy the hell out of me, and probably other users as well.

No.
Keep FFR's originality.
Some songs are onbeat but tough, others have very simple patterns yet are offbeat.
Some people can't PA offbeat stuff so it's more of a challenge for them to get a good rank on the particular song.
Some people can PA offbeat stuff, and so they're blessed with that, but they might lack in another area, for example, speed.

If the offbeat songs were restepped, I bet the people who AAA'd would be really pissed, and feel as all the work they've put in just to AAA those songs was just a waste; I'd be.

if you were to resinc the (not too many) songs that are offbeat, agreeing with smartdude it would kill the origionality of the songs

Well, very true, and I just realized that the scores would need to be reset, so that basically kills what I first suggested.

they won't be resync'd. there has been 100 topics on it.


many of the songs are starting to get v2's. which are basically re-steps.

ya, but most of them are easyer (CIA RAVE V2) or harder (stay with me V2) but i like em eaither way

yes... they'll almost certainly either be easier or harder. hellbeat v2 is an exception.
