1. It's already visible on the home page, and in profiles, and I think that's enough.

1) I use my siggy on other sites, and could use it to say something like "Hey, help me get to 5,000!" and then post the real-time count in the siggy.
2) Yes, clicking from this site does count. I gave myself the first Come Play count. The difference is, however, that each IP can only satisfy +1pt for one player. For example, I gave my IP to my own count, therefore I can no longer give +1pt to anyone else.

Synth said clicking from this site didn't count, and even if it does, it really shouldn't, since that definitely isn't bringing in any new people.

To be 100% specific, I didn't click it from the site, I was on the site when I typed it in.

And agreed, either way it shouldn't.

2nd suggestion, fix that too =P
