Multiplayer Level Bug?

[Silver Metallic]

I can't seem to raise my level in MP. Just now in multiplayer I repeatedly kicked the ass of a level 13 player, but my MP level didn't rise a drop.

To gain or lose MP level the person you play needs to be withing 8 levels of you.
