Looking at how you post in the forums, I don't have much hope for how you talk in the chat. Also, listen to what Tass has said, they don't need any new moderators for anywhere, everywhere is fine. Also, don't try to gain sympathy like that, it won't help you be modded. Show the proper skills / general personality traits and, given time, you may be considered for modding by the staff.

Translation: you post bad in the forums, listen for once, FFR is under control,
dont gain compassion with your "emo lies!" it wont change a thing, act the actual way you need to be a mod...and you might become one...

You could have an army of them, and you people would still ask for more. The chat room will never be perfect. Besides, who wants to spend 15 hours a day in chat waiting for spammers to ban?

They're not just going to give it to you like that. You have to earn it by having respect and contribution to the site, and eventually be elected by other mods. Raising your hand isn't going to give you very much other than people having bad first impressions of you. Good job.

Bottom line is, The MODS and ADMINS are the only people who decide if they need more. Even if they do decide they need more, they aren't going to give it to someone unless they feel there is someone who can be both trusted to do the job correctly and not abuse the power they have been given. The MP lobby is becoming busier slowly and MODS might be needed in the future; but really, it's not that hard to find one of the MP MODS we have right now. Tass was idle last night but Shash was on. Simple click of the mouse will get you instant contact with one of them.
