Difficulty

I was thinking, for all peoples different playing styles, 1 hand spread and index, to have each song have the difficulty for each style, get someone like izzy (i think he/shes index) and shash (spread?) and a good one hander (dont know any) and get their responses to what the song should be for the difficulty....but its just a suggestion....

but then have that for like 1 hand people, cause songs are harder for one hand than spread or index, and then have a different difficulty for spread, and same for index...

no. playing style is your own personal choice. the thread I linked to above is THE best guideline of actual difficulty... and for the most part, it is consistent. Yea, silence is harder for index than FotBB... we get that. But GENERALLY, it is consistent.

usually the problems are that you aren't good enough, regardless of style, for any of the songs in a particular difficulty region.

i hope you get what i'm getting at.

What Tassle is trying to provide is that a song is always gonna be hard to a certain amount of people, regardless of their playing style. There's really no point in doing this, because the difficulty system in-game is total BS anyway.

and we're telling you that there is no need for it. what I linked you to above is the best you could get and the best you are going to get.

clearly, for certain people certain songs are harder... but IN GENERAL, the songs are listed are fairly accurate. Especially in their grouping of difficulty. Within their grouping, you could argue that one song is harder than another... a lot of that is personal ability. But, the top FFR players made that list of the ranks, and as they are the best, they have the best understanding of which files are harder than others, especially at the more difficult levels.
