concur'd.

although, i don't want any of the songs that i've given to LD to be used in secret. why? because they are either classic or rock songs. and those categories are more neglected than secret. we NEED the 1 rock song and we NEED the classic.

I still dont understand why there arent more rock/classic songs.

Classsic songs arent copyrighted and there are a billion wanna be rock bands that would happily give a song or two to FFR. I know you have to make the stepfiles and edit the FFR Game code for every new song but there seems to be lots of demand......

I would hell try for 100,000 credits but that would take me 200 days of 500 credits a day.

You have to get the permission windsurfer. That is all it comes down to. Not to mention... the classical files are not copyrighted BUT each individual performance of the piece IS copyrighter. So you have to get permission from the performer. I'm a member of a classical website with over 30,000 legal classical mp3s. That is where I've contacted numerous performers to get permission for classical pieces.

If you want some more rock songs, go to some indie mp3 website and download some mp3s, if there is a good song, contact the band. Or go through myspace. The rock song that I got permission for is done by a band that is good friends with Whorli (my gf, if you don't know who she is). So they were pretty willing to let FFR use the track.

Ok that explains the lack of classical side of them but I am still a bit surprised that there aren't morr indie rock bands joining. Maybe there arent enough people like you asking for permission. If only all our girlfriends were freinds with indie rock bands.

I don't know about you. But i'd rather my wife/girlfriend weren't friends with a lot of indie rock bands.
