I'll clarify - when I said the roll doesn't fit with the song, I meant that that part of the chart is much denser and harder to hit, but the song isn't actually more intense at that point. It might or might not be technically correct (I'd have to listen on very low rate to know), but when playing the song the roll doesn't feel right because the dynamics/climax theory/expressiveness are off.

People need to stop stepping using the same monotonous style that used to be encouraged in elitist SM charting and start developing their own styles. It's not impossible to make a fun file by combining technicality and good patterns.

Anyway, cool new files. We could use more creativity around here. Speaking of creativity, I think I'm going to piss you guys off with a future old school type FFR file during the next batch. I'll make a FMO+ file and turn all the notes to 8ths. I shall be trolled !_!

people need to look back on how stepfiles used to be, where they didn't have to be synced perfectly and have notes to go to the music

get back with freeform/creative placements of notes
