I remember when we debated 7 or 8 on for a while. Mostly because of the rap section but overall the file isn't really harder than a lot of the long rock 7s we have.

It prob could go either way really high 7 or low 8 lol. damn borderline files

Hey guys.

While I was writing the articles and looking at the charts for their respective lengths, I too noticed that many of the files could fit two different difficulties. I was very tempted to say FBM was an 11; initially, I thought it was an 11 too, but after giving a good look at it, I opted out of the 11 rating.

Tamashii was given a borderline rating from JX, as was I Remember When, and I decided to go up for Tamashii (constant pace, constantly moving), and down for I Remember When (fairly slow, and while it's long, it's fairly constant aside from the short rap section).

Snow is pretty tricky too, and I couldn't figure out what to rate that one so I just stuck with the 8 rating that JX gave. Grocery Escape Plan and Ice Disk were fairly obvious ratings, though.

Wow, 6 new songs...and I enjoyed every single one of them!!

Four Blocks Madness, I Remember When, Ice Disk, and Tamashii were all fun songs. I originally thought that I Remember when would be another one of those long boring hip hop songs, but I was plesently suprised. Also, Snow's sound kind of reminds me of TGWP songs!

Grocery Escape Plan was probably my favorite in terms of the song though. The chart was a pretty nice jack practice type of file, it gave me quite a few boo flag runs before finally pulling in the AAA.
BUT-THEN-I-FOUND-OUT-THEY-ONLY-HAD-1-PERCENT-BUT-NOT-TWO-PERCENT!!

I Remember When is amazing. It's the only song in hip hop that felt like 2 minutes long instead of a boring 4+ minutes.

It's actually RnB. I don't think we've had any RnB songs on FFR, except for one or two when widgets were around.

Yea, it's technically not "hip-hop" but it was either put it there, dance or misc and since both dance and misc are very large as it is.. :P

I know that. People are talking about actual genres though. The song best fits in the hip hop category, but is not hip hop genre-wise.

We really have to change the labelling of genres and song styles.

What we currently call "song styles" on FFR are actually the music genres. What we currently call "genres" on FFR are actually nothing more than broad music categories. Poor word choices from the start.

Grocery Escape Plan is quite funny, which makes it that much harder to play lmao.

The Pylons Are Trap Balls was funny.

This is just plain retarded. Urge to quad-mash the transitions is so incredible.

One of those levels where the song makes up for the file, though I think it's still less technical than, say, Club.

I Remember When - fun file, songs not that great. Who made this a 7? It's clearly a mid 8.

Snow - good song, fun steps, but damn annoying, so easy to hit goods

Four Block Madness - easiest VC we got IMO. Don't know why people think it's so hard, very straightforward, very little 16ths. Lunar Noir was much rougher

Ice Disk - good song, fast file, fun, but bland. Pretty rough with the gaps and stuff, definitely the hardest VC of the week, the slow down section is also easy good bait

Tamashii - Fun file, trickiest VC of the week. It's SO easy to hit goods in this song.

Grocery Escape Plan - Cannot...stop.....LAUGHING!! I will never AAA this because I cannot seem to not laugh at this song, and I suck at jumping jacks. Good file though

Four Block Madness is definitely not an 11.
