I use flash 8 standalone which works great for the game. I use anything flash 10 and it lags like hell and drops taps.

Runs flawlessly for me expect that at the most random intervals I seem to obtain a miss (almost like an AV-miss without the AV). What could be the cause of this?

[Win 7, Flash 10, Firefox 3.6.10, 8GB DDR3 Ram, i7 Core 865, Nvidia 9800 GTX+ -- Shouldn't be a problem to perfectly run a silly flash game...]

Same thing for me. I was well on my way to FCing a song when all of a sudden I get a miss, even though I know I hit the key. Kinda annoying when you're trying to fix your avranks. :s

That's actually what i'm calling "frameskips". You hit something and it's like that frame time where you hit was disabled so you ends up either hitting late or getting a miss instead of getting both like in the old engine. The big problem with that is that it seems to happens totally randomly.

Oh, that makes sense then. I was getting more late goods than usual, so it's good to see I wasn't as bad as I thought. I still kinda suck though. :P

Flash 8 + signed into IE = no lag
PC is a p.o.s though, anything in browser dies. Running on 1gb ram, crappy video card, slow cpu and xp lol

This definitely helped me with lag issues, and makes lag minimal.
