I wouldn't really care for it's rarity, unless it's the content. If it's just some CD made of glass*, then it isn't worth it. If it's a CD with some of the world's rarest content inside it, then it's worth the money. $205 is definitely overkill in this case, especially if you can actually contact him and acquire it from him (mrr hrr, myspace), if you speak Japanese anyway.

At some point too, I don't think he was even completely aware that he had a promo disk.

Suddenly, I'm also thinking that if it's just a promotional disk, then it probably isn't that worth it. I mean, it's not the full album, is it? I remember that Japanese used quit alot of promotional content, so it's not much different than a branch on a tree.

I'm pretty sure he's out of promo disks already, since my connections have good contact with him, and they'd know if he still had some left. :P

And it's a full album, just called a Promo disk cause it's a very limited release.
It's a re-release (with some different tracks mind you) of the first release on the label, which has been out of print even longer and same amount of copies most likely.

I would've just stuck with a torrent download, but congrats on your find anyway.

Really terrible idea imo. You could just download it and burn your own CD.
