      crappy file.
      overdone steps.
this whole "look i can mash effectively and whatnot" phase is getting old.
stepfiles are trying to be too perfect and are not as fun anymore.

rato's awwright but ffr's combo-weighted scoring system ruins it

no matter how good my PA is on the jumpstream section the fact that I can't combo the rolls means I'll never get a decent score

                    Re: Reluctantly Accepting Temporary Overexhaustion

After playing Death Piano again, I realize it's MUCH harder than RATO. I can see RATO being SDG'd one day, but I can't ever see anyone getting below 20 goods on DP. RATO is really hard, don't get me wrong, but DP is MUCH harder to PA and FC overall, RATO is a high FGO except for the insane rolls, which theoretically could be jump trilled for a AAA (though I doubt it will ever happen). I can't FC RATO, because I don't have the stamina and it hurts my hands and shoulders. But I have over 500 combo on RATO, when even with Mashing I can't get over a 500 combo on DP (except for the 16 jump part, but I try not to quad mash that)
It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at my school (No, I can't complain)
The teachers who taught me weren't cool (No, I can't complain)
You're holding me down (Oh Oh)
                    Turning me round (Oh Oh)
Filling me up with your rules (Oooh)

I think that's pushing it. If someone can SDG RATO, a 20 good score on DP would theoretically be nothing. I say theoretically because it hasn't happened, and I don't believe it would ever happen.

I also don't agree with DP being much harder than RATO. In any case, Death Piano is harder to FC, given its length, jack consistency and its overall well-being. RATO is concise, and requires a short burst of stamina. However, technically, Death Piano is 'easier' compared to RATO in technical fluency because it contains 'easy' sections which, first of all, take up much of the file, and the jacks in the song can be consistently PA'd as long as the person has stamina. The jump jack section can be done if the person has the technical abilities and the speed, however, RATO is incredibly difficult to PA as well as to be consistent in the technical aspect of the song.

The main parts of Death Piano that are really hard to PA are the ending jumpgluts and the 32nd trill right after. Everything else isn't too bad

And yeah, I have to agree with RATO being a lot more consistent..... Death Piano has a slow rest part, and is mainly just wristjacking. RATO is constantly on the move. And I don't understand how someone could easily AAA AIM Anthem but completely suck at the 12th jacks.... The hands that start them make them very awkward but they're only like 2 bpm faster

Problem with DP IMO are the 24th trills, especially since some are one handed, it's killer. If you take out the roll walls in RATO, it's not much harder than CCCP IMO, the patterns are readable, and with the right coordination, definitely PA able. DP is easier to read until you hit the end, true, but the overall stamina, jacks, and trills I think makes it harder to PA. But this is just IMO

I also think that if RATO's 13, then DP should be 13

if you cant get a higher combo than 500 on DP then you just cant jack

Since we were on the topic, Genre Tweleve, anyone?

I would agree that DP is harder, just because of the amount of real mashing skill need to FC it. Compare the FC's on RATO to the FC's on DP, and it supports my opinion fairly well. RATO you just have to mindlessly mash the walls right and you could get the FC.
