            I joined October 2005, and played normally for about a half a year until I found out that screenshrink improved scores dramatically. So I used that until speedmods came out. I found out about it the first day it came out, and by the time it came out, I had used screenshrink to like 1.5x. I used 1.5x for quite a while, but now I am using 1.75x, and I hope to elevate to 2.0x. The less arrows that are on the screen at once, the better. (For me at least it is.)

                I learned on SM so speed multiplier seemed just the basics for me here

                                my first play was on 2x... I remembered that DDR was pretty much only playable on 2x or higher, so I tried that, and failed miserably... I played 1x forever then worked my way up to 1.50x and I'm aiming to play at 1.75x soon!

                                        I can't remember if I used them right away or not.

                                        I know I played 1.25x for a LONG time.
                                        Then I switched to 1.50x.

                                        Now if I try 1x again, it is far too slow.

                                            I was there when FFR added them, so immediately. I didn't actually use them for the first 6 months they were out, though. I was pretty good without them, and I thought they would screw me up. Now I play on 2x and I can come pretty close to AAAing several FMO songs, and one FGO song. -.-
