Bad idea.
It would cause a long loading time, either for the preview itself (having to stream a small mp3 still takes time) or to preload all previews (a lot of time).
It is also pretty usless, as FFR doesn't have a lot of songs. Remembering them is rather simple.

no that would be way too much work... and it would jack up the loading times and probably cause lag...

stepmania has this because there's potentially unlimited songs.

FFR has too few songs to justify such a feature

I doubt this would get implemented. As others have stated, the loading times would be really long. I am thinking that most of the users here forget that this is a flash game. Also how hard is it to play a 2-3 min song to hear a "preview." The longest song in the game is not even six minutes.

More consequences than benefits, No support.

but a 5-10 sec sample would be great since SOME people can't remember how a song sounds like. I played like. . almost all of the songs and can't remember more than half of them =/

If you really need to hear the song, just go to the level stats page.
Unnecessary imo.
