ughh...jack syndrome is just a term people used to use around here when jacks were considered a problem. there are 4 framers 3 framers 2 framers 1 framers etc, and which meant you had a certain amount of frames to hit a perfect in, and 2 framers you had to get a good on the first note in order to not miss the second note. so with songs like gradeus, which had two 2 framers, that meant the highest possible score you could got on gradeus would be 2-0-0-0. it would be physically impossible because of the engine to get a PFC or perfect full combo which would obviously be 0-0-0-0 or AAA.

As it stands, I'm liking the old layout better. I knew where everything is, and I could get to everything that I needed to get to. Of course, the new one is missing many links to pages that I normally use. I know that there's still work to be done on the new layout, but that's my opinion.
