        Up the refresh rate on your monitor, it helps a lot

        Don't play when your eyes are tired (like after a long day of school or something)

          my eyes burn after i play for a long time.. but that's only because i should be wearing reading glasses lol.

                If your monitor can handle it, aim for around 100 Hz, higher, if possible.

                It also helps to have a CRT monitor, as their refresh rates are much higher then their LCD counterparts.

                  Agreed. Most monitors should be able to handle at least 80 hz, which is way better for your eyes than 60. That's why I try to avoid using school computers..They're ALWAYS set on 60 for some reason. Right now my monitor is set to 85 hz, the highest it can go.
